One of my husband's favorite quotes; spoken to our children repeatedly, is "Today is the first day of the rest of your life."
He has spoken these words to our children many times as they were growing up...and still does today.
11 little words that have made a difference in each of their lives.
11 little words of encouragement that we now hear repeated regularly by each of them.
Our youngest son shared these words during his wedding vows...first, sharing his father's words and then declaring to his new bride that "today was the first day of THEIR lives."
Whatever is going on in your life, whatever struggles you have endured, whatever hurdles you have crossed...take comfort in knowing that today, you get to start all over again!
