What are you thankful for?
What if....today...we put off some of those things that rob our precious time.
What if we sit on our porch; or in our quiet place, and we simply think!
Instead of thinking about all the negative things that are going on in our world...what if we thought about the things that we are thankful for.
Would the world come to an end if we were missing for an hour or two? Would our families fall apart? Would the coffee shop "go under" if we grabbed a cup of coffee from our own kitchen and sat on the porch and enjoyed the peace?
Many times, Jesus escaped the busyness, the activities, even the fellowship with others.
He simply slipped away to spend time alone and time in prayer.
You don't have to be there for everyone...all the time.
You don't have to be the one that everyone depends on.
You don't have to be a stepping stone.
You don't have to be perfect.
You don't have to do all the "things" that "you" have placed upon your plate.
It's okay to take time away. It's okay to simply slip away!
Spend some time alone today and think about what you are thankful for?
Have a blessed day!
I have been praying for each of you already this morning.
Arlene
