Whom I Serve...

For many years, this little piece of paper hung on my office wall as a form of encouragement.

For just as long, this scripture has been written in the front of my Bible...so that each time I open it, I am reminded of whom I serve.

"Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord, not for men." Col 3:23

Don't get caught up in serving to please others, in serving to be recognized, in serving just to be serving.

Do you work quietly...and diligently...for one set of eyes only! You don't have to please anyone except the Lord. Am I pleasing God?

Have a blessed day and know that...God hears, God sees, and God knows all those little things you do...even when no one else does! Seek to please God first...not man!
