There are those who are looking for a God who shouts...and misses the one who whispers.
Photography is one of my favorite hobbies and nature; God's creation is my favorite subject.
From time to time, I purposefully wander out into His creation to catch a glimpse of God's handiwork to understand Him better, to marvel at the beauty that He has created.
For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities all things were created through him and for him. Colossians 1:16
What have I discovered on my journeys?
I have discovered that no matter how beautiful a picture might be...it can never compare to the beauty of who God is.
I have discovered that sometimes I focus on the wrong thing.
Sometimes I take a picture of something that I think is absolutely beautiful...something that I feel is one of God's finest creations...only to discover that there was something else in the picture that I totally missed through the viewfinder.
The picture is God's gentle whisper...a reminder...to not to put Him in a box...not to fixate on one thing...not to put limitations on Him...not to compare Him with something else...because He is so much more than that!
I love it when God whispers...
