In farming, when it rains too much, plants are not required to push their roots deeper into the earth to search for water. All the roots remain on the surface. When the drought begins, the shallow roots dry out and the plant dies. When the rains and floods arrive, they have nothing to grab onto. A good plant needs deep roots to sustain it during hard times. Choose to shoot down roots into what is eternal. Then when rough times hit...your deeply rooted love of God will give you the power to endure. Stop worrying...start digging. Dig into your Bible, dig into your praise time, dig into prayer...and start thanking God for what He is about to do!
Have a happy and blessed day....taking root in what is eternal! I have already been praying for you this morning!
