Welcome to
"A Christmas to Remember"
A Christmas gift program unlike any other!
Opening our door in 2006, A Christmas to Remember was created as a ministry
to help ease the stress for under-resourced families at Christmas time.
Over the past 16 years, we have provided gifts for thousands of families in our community.
But we haven't done it alone.
It is through the efforts and generosity of local businesses, individuals, and volunteers, that we can proudly say "We have never had to turn a single family away."

What makes our program so special?
Our program is not a wish list program...it is an entire morning of shopping, gift wrapping, Christmas music, snacks, and more.
The shoppers are CHILDREN...K-6th grade.
When the children walk through the doors, their eyes light up as rows and rows of gifts await them.
Many of them simply stand and stare as they take it all in.
Children are allowed to shop for that perfect gift for EACH member of their family, an opportunity that many of them have never experienced.
Gifts will be selected, wrapped, tagged, and bagged and then sent home to be placed under their tree for Christmas morning.
Each child will also receive a gift of their very own. Selected by a sibling or one of our many volunteers.
How Do We Select Families?
We don't!
We leave that to the professionals...The school counselors, caseworkers, program directors, and social workers. After all, who knows their kids better than they do?
Each child/family is recommended...and registered online by their school counselor, program director, or social worker.
To make sure that all children have been accounted for, we double-check our list of children with each school counselor, program director, or social worker before shopping day.
When Is The Event Held?
Our "A Christmas to Remember" event is generally held the first Saturday in December.
Where Do All The Amazing Gifts Come From?
All gifts for our program are generously donated through local businesses, vendors, churches, and individuals throughout our community. Several of our vendors have been with us for many, many years...and donate some pretty AMAZING gifts.
What Kind of Gift Items Do We Accept?

Any and all new items for men, women, youth, children, babies...even pets.

Toys, Socks, Hats, Warm Mittens, Makeup, Tools, Fishing Items, Sports Items, puzzles, games, kitchen gadgets, sewing items, electronics, books, science, and craft kits, etc. etc.

Open gift sets (unused) - We have an amazing group of volunteers that can take a variety of items and create some pretty amazing gift sets.

Gift wrapping, ribbons, bows, gift boxes, scotch tape, packaging tape

School Counselors, Caseworkers, or Program Directors Only
All names will be verified through each school
counselor and program director.
Volunteer
I would like to volunteer to help with the "A Christmas to Remember" gift program.
Organizing and operating our gift program requires a LOT of volunteers.
Everything from working a gift table, gift wrapping, crowd control, check-in, package handlers, snack area, worship center area, hall monitor, photography and game/activity table.
Note: You can work a gift table as well as gift wrapping (they will be at different times)
