Success Is Not Always What You See!

Happy Wednesday!!!

Thank you for all of the wonderful work that you are doing for God's kingdom!

I know that this can be a stressful time of year with all of the wonderful holidays coming up...but it doesn't have to be.

This year, decide to keep things simple! Focus on Jesus and skip all of the things that add stress to an already stressful time of year.

Slow down and simply enjoy the holidays.

A children's Christmas party doesn't have to be a huge event, it can be on a Sunday morning. Enjoying (store-bought) cookies, listening to Christmas music, reading the Christmas story, and creating a simple ornament out of odds and ends that you already have.

A musical or a drama is great but what parent doesn't love seeing their children on stage singing some Christmas songs...with all the silly motions? Better yet...songs that they have learned in Children's church instead of weeks and weeks of practices and trips back and forth to the church?

This year, re-think how you can make the holidays easier for yourself...and your families. Slow down and actually enjoy your children...your families... your own family...your own children...things that make you happy!

Take some time today and focus on how you can put the spotlight on Jesus...instead of the hassle and bustle of the holidays.

If you think that I have fallen off of the face of the planet...I have not. I am working on my annual Christmas gift program for families in need...including ways in which I can run it more smoothly with less stress.

Have a blessed day!!

I am praying for each of you.
